Artist Statement

I create because I refuse to accept the world as static.

I am an actor at heart, but my work expands beyond the stage. Theater, film, and multimedia are not separate disciplines they are different ways of asking the same questions: Who are we? What do we carry? How do we make sense of a world constantly in motion? My work exists at the intersection of storytelling and inquiry, a space where performance is not just about inhabiting characters but about dealing with history, power, and the ways we define ourselves.

To act, to hold the weight of their joys, fears, and contradictions. I am drawn to roles that demand transformation, not just of self, but of space, language, and meaning. I do not perform to simply reflect reality; I perform to push against it, to find what lingers beneath the surface.

Beyond acting, I weave my passion for storytelling into film and multimedia, where image and sound create new possibilities for narrative. The way light shifts across a face, the rhythm of an edit, the silence between words, these elements shape a story just as much as performance does. I see theater and film as part of the same continuum. My work is global in its reach and deeply personal in its approach, driven by a need to connect across borders, both physical and imagined.

I create because I believe storytelling is a form of resistance, a way to push back against erasure and indifference. We live in an age of distance; between people, between histories, between truths and I see art to close those gaps. Whether on stage, through film, or in the spaces in between, I strive to tell stories that remind us of our shared humanity, that ask us to listen more closely, to see more fully, to remind us that we are unfinished, that we are still searching.
